Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman made headlines with a stunning walk-off grand slam in the World Series opener on October 25, and he celebrated the moment with his family.

After the game, Freeman, 35, quickly made his way to his wife, Chelsea Freeman, who was waiting at the edge of the field. The couple shared a heartfelt embrace and a kiss in front of the cameras.

Thanks to Freeman's grand slam, where he hit a home run with all bases loaded, the Dodgers secured a 6-3 victory. Chelsea took to social media to express her excitement, posting an Instagram Story with the caption, “!!!!!!! WALK OFF GRAND SLAM. Am I dreaming or is this real life?!”

Freeman first celebrated his achievement with his dad, exchanging a high-five before heading to Chelsea. He spoke about the significant role his father has played in his baseball journey. “My swing and approach are because of him,” he said in a postgame press conference. “All those hours on the field together shaped who I am.”

Freddie noted his father was understandably nervous before the game against the New York Yankees. “I wanted to share that moment with him because he’s been there for me throughout my career,” he added, emphasizing that the victory was as much his father's as it was his own.

Chelsea later shared a photo of Freddie with his dad on her Story, writing, “This pic is everything.”
